Quick Vegetarian Food for Busy People

Asparagus forms the base of this nice little crunchy salty side salad that complements a meal well.

Cooking Time: 8 Minutes

How to make it:

  • Flash fry asparagus spears in hot olive oil with a little salt.
  • Toast sunflour seeds in a dry pan.
  • Mix and serve.

In Detail:

  • Heat some olive oil in a pan until hot.
  • Chuck in some washed asparagus spears.
  • Grind a little salt over it. This will add crispiness.
  • Optionally toast some sunflour seeds in a hot dry pan. Other types of seed work well too eg pumpkin seeds.
  • Mix and serve.
